The Story of Royal Montessori Academy

I really just felt passionately about offering something to my children that was better. I strongly believe that if I want something for my children that other mothers feel the same way. I approached Mrs. James and I told her that I had a crazy idea: I wanted to start a Montessori Preschool.

So we started to get the ball rolling and we said “when it stops, it stops. We’ll just go until it stops. And here we are! We have two campuses and it hasn’t stopped! It’s amazing!”

Royal Montessori Academy is a private preschool that offers the Montessori Curriculum to students 6 months through kindergarten. Montessori is a philosophy and it’s a method based teaching that dives into all of the children’s sensitive periods of development between birth and kindergarten.

When I started this business I had gone to bank. They told me “no” and didn’t believe in me. When I sat with Greg from Fortifi, he said, “I love it! Let’s do it.” You need that as a business owner. You need people in your corner that believe in you. They more that you have people saying it with you – it just fuels that fire.

If you believe in what you’re doing don’t stop. Don’t let anyone stop you. I wouldn’t have been able to grow like this and keep up with demand if Fortifi wouldn’t have helped us.
