Leaf Squad: Sweeping Through Communities

Fortifi Bank is thrilled to announce the launch of its ‘Leaf Squad,’ a lighthearted yet impactful community service initiative that combines the fun of autumn with the spirit of giving back. Dressed in green capes and masks, and armed with rakes, leaf blowers, and determination, the Leaf Squad is a band of community service vigilantes helping those who need assistance with fall yard work.

Inspired by the belief that strong communities are built through small acts of kindness, the Leaf Squad identified clients and community members who may need a helping hand raking their lawns due to health concerns. With their permission, Fortifi Bank team members sprang into action, ensuring yards were left tidy and ready for winter.  

The initiative is not just about clearing leaves—it’s about fostering connections, strengthening communities, and embodying the bank’s mission of ‘Growin’ Wisconsin.’ By investing time and effort into their neighbors’ well-being, Fortifi Bank aims to demonstrate that even the smallest acts of service can make a significant impact.

While the Leaf Squad has hung up their capes for the 2024 season, Fortifi Bank invites community members to think about your neighbors who might need help with yard work next fall. We will begin accepting nominations at the end of Summer 2025.
