Fortifi Bank Offers Best Options for Small Business Funding
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Wisconsin office has recognized Fortifi Bank for its commitment to making financing more accessible to small businesses. Fortifi was named the top volume lender utilizing SBA financing in the $400 – 500 million asset category for 2019.
“SBA-backed lending is one of the most effective options for small business to start, grow, expand and recover from adversity,” said Eric Ness, district director for SBA Wisconsin. “We congratulate Fortifi on its commitment to small business success and the SBA programs.”
Fortifi’s investment in the program is also demonstrated by its designation of SBA Preferred Lender. This means its lenders have a high level of expertise and can guide clients through the process on a local level.
“Supporting small businesses and helping them start, grow, and succeed is a significant part of our lenders’ role,” said Dave Mills, senior vice president of business banking at Fortifi. “We want business owners to realize their potential and know we are here as a partner and advisor, all throughout their business journey.”
In 2016, Mills was named an Elite Lending Partner by the Wisconsin Business Development (WBD) – an elite group of just ten lenders across Wisconsin.
“Small businesses play an important role in the economic welfare of our communities,” said Greg Lundberg, who recently rose from the rank of chief lending officer to Fortifi Bank president. “We participate in the SBA program because our mission is to grow Wisconsin. It’s an honor to be recognized for work that aligns with that mission,” he added.
A total of 14 Wisconsin community-based lenders were recognized in 16 SBA loan volume and specialty categories for the 2019 fiscal year. View them all at https://www.sba.gov/node/1653939.
